Clinco was very pleased to have been asked to work for the Transvaginal Mesh Case Record Review commissioned by the Scottish Government, due to report later this year.  Clinco’s remit was the collation and indexing of the medical records of all participants, and preparing chronologies of relevant events for the Review Panel.

These are all complex cases involving life-changing injuries for the women concerned.  We would like to pay tribute to the resilience of these patients in living with their injuries, and finding the strength to come forward to participate in the Review.  It’s commendable that the Scottish Government has acknowledged the importance of their experience and committed to the investigation.

Clinco’s role made good use of our strengths – achievement of clarity through analytical attention to detail.  We have received excellent feedback, which is a satisfying endorsement at national level. We have enjoyed the challenge of this very worthwhile project and look forward to publication of the outcome in due course.
